The auction for Tommy was a great success! Drumroll...... $2002.50 was raised to help bring Tommy home! Amazing!

Last, with the unfortunate weather hitting the east coast, please be patient -- there may be some delays with invoicing or shipping from those affected by the storm.

Good news -- you have more time!

To all of our wonderful friends who have joined us for the auction -

We have received several messages from folks along the East coast who have had some power issues as well as those who are busy preparing for Hurricane Sandy. Because of this, we have been asked to keep the auction open a little longer. We are going to close the auction tomorrow (Sunday), 10/28, at midnight.

We also ask that in this time, if you are a winning bidder, please bear with us. Some of our gracious donors are from the east coast and will undoubtedly have a delay in shipping your items due to the storm and the aftermath.

Cuddly, warm PINK toddler snowsuit (sized 2T)

You are bidding on a soft and warm and cozy fuzzy fleece snowsuit for a toddler girl. It's from One Step Ahead, and it is sized 2T, but our three girls started wearing it at 18 months up through age 3. It's in pristine, like-new condition, despite having been handed down and washed and washed (with All Free and Clear detergent) many times through three girls. Both the hands and the feet fold over to make it a complete sleeper.

We live in a smoke-free, perfume-free, animal-free home (although we had a dog up until about a year and a half ago), and we are sad that none of our girls fit in it anymore!

5 Hours of Online Chess Lessons!

Did you know that several studies have show that if students learn the fundamentals of chess, their math scores improve? Did you know that more books have been written about chess than any other game or sport? Learning how to move the chess pieces takes only a few minutes, but learning how to move those pieces so that you can win takes much longer. It helps to have a coach show you some fundamentals to get you on your way to chess mastery.

This auction is for 5 hours of chess lessons given online at your convenience. Jeff Estes has almost two decades of experience coaching students of all ages so that they can get more enjoyment from this amazing game. Lessons will be given via Skype and it will be beneficial if you have an account at Chess.com, but not required.
